Don't get me wrong, I do love the brand and this coffee pot. My disappointment lies in the programming feature. I bought this brand because dependable programming is important to me. I like to have my coffee maker set to go off in the mornings before I get up for work. I have done this with every Cuisinart coffee pot I've ever had, (I'm on my 3rd).
The program feature is easy to figure out and get set, but for no apparent reason the coffee pot goes off whenever it feels like it and not at 4:45am as programmed. Believe me when I say I have double and triple checked the time and program time, but it still goes off once a week WAY before the set time.
The other issue I have, which started out as a selling point for me is the 1-4 cup selection, to make only up to 4 cups of coffee at a time. My logic is that I can fill the water chamber up, it holds 12 cups worth of water and then program it to go off each morning to only make 1-4 cups of coffee. SO, I'd only have to fill the water chamber up once every 3 days, which I thought was a great selling point! However, you can't program the coffee maker to do that. Even by pushing the 1-4 cup button, then setting it to 'auto on', then turning on your pot, as you do when you want it to go off at the programmed time, it will not just make 1-4 cups, it will use ALL the water in the chamber.
I do love the brand, and the coffee maker is nice. The two issues I have aren't end of the world type issues, that's for sure. I do wish I'd purchased the newer version of the Cuisinart pot I had previously owned. It would have been a little cheaper and would have required just as much cleaning as this one.

Very happy with the coffeemaker. Works well. I like the removable water holder. It makes it easy to refill. Only thing I don't like is that when it needs to be cleaned, the CLEAN button flashes constantly until you clean it. So if you just made a pot of coffee and don't finish it for two days, the CLEAN button flashes for those entire two days.

It has a glitch…

We have had 3 On Demand coffeemakers. This 3rd one was for my house and the one that it replaced was going to my camper. We love having our coffee ready in the morning and it staying hot for 4 hours!
The only problem we are having with this maker is the timer knob isn’t always dependable. Sometimes when I set the pot for the night to come on early in the AM and push the button it may start brewing right away.
This is the first issue we have had with any of the 3 we’ve had.
And it’s the only reason it’s not a 5 star

We purchased this machine to replace the exact same model that we purchased and loved for 10 years. The old machine started leaking water from the reservoir so we decided to buy a new one. A few weeks into our purchase we noticed that our counter was constantly wet, again from the reservoir from the new machine. I reached out and was told that they would send me a new reservoir, personally I think it is a gasket but here we go :(
