I needed to replace my old on demand coffee maker. I looked at reviews and decided on an upgrade. I have had good luck with other Cuisinart small appliances, which made my decision easier. I love the design of this especially the removable reservoir. Everything about this machine says quality. I prefer the permanent filter and I am glad that was included. This dispenses coffee quickly without making a mess. We use the keep warm feature and the coffee stays at a good temp for 4 hours without tasting burned. The only flaw I see is the level gage isn't accurate.

I bought this as replacement for the same model that unfortunately had sprung a leak from the base of the coffee reservoir. We liked the performance and flexibility of this model enough to warrant direct replacement. The ability to dispense a cup as soon as coffee starts brewing and flexibility to make as many cups as wanted up to 12 at a time is definitely an advantage. Also we find that no paper filter is needed for what we do so we save on that aspect.
