Longest lasting coffeemaker in my kitchen

I own this machine for about 10 years now, and it still works perfectly without any issues. There was one reviewer who claimed the gauge gets clogged and makes the machine leak, that is not true. I clean the coffee reservoir on the regular basis with vinegar and baking soda, rinse it very thoroughly and brush that little opening from both ends with a toothbrush. I have given up buying the little water filter packs and now use filtered water instead. There is one minor little thing: I wish the program buttons to set hours and minutes would be a little easier to respond, but maybe that has changed with newer releases since I purchased this machine. If mine ever stops working, I would buy the same model in a heartbeat.

I purchased this coffee maker because it eliminated the carafe. For years, I’ve only used coffee makers with insulated carafes to avoid burnt tasting coffee. I think that the coffee taste burnt when the carafe sets on a hot plate for several hours. This coffee maker uses a hot plate in a reservoir to keep the coffee hot for hours. I have not tasted burnt coffee with this coffee maker. Be sure to clean the reservoir daily to insure good tasting coffee.
