We love this coffeemaker. No need for buying the expensive K-cups with this machine. The coffee is wonderful and stays wonderful for hours. It is also very nice to just put your cup and press down on the bar to fill your cup. I highly recommend this coffeemaker.

Though I really like the 4 hour heating element that doesn’t scorch the coffee at all, there are so many pieces to clean after each brew. However, coffee seems to brew successfully and tastes delicious using the hard filter.

Once I removed the semi circular “arms” on the grounds cup, all was good. That arm made removing spent grounds more difficult than need be. Overall works well, we’ll see how it stands up to daily use.

We've only had the 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker for about a month and so far so good. One major drawback is that you have to manually expell any leftover coffee at the end of each day/use (one cup at a time). The tray at the bottom prevents using taller cups (tumblers), so you have to remove it each time you want to fill a taller cup, or leave it off, but the drawback to that is that water runs out of the bottom of the machine as the coffee is brewing into the drip tray, so if it's not in place, you end up with a little bit of a mess on your hands.

I love the concept of this brewer so much, however it did not produce a delicious cup of coffee. I grind my own beans and brew fresh every morning, so I am not a novice. It produced a weak, unsavory cup. The tank also did not hold the heat for very long.
