The Cuisinart coffee maker is easy to use and brews well, but the reservoir trains overnight too frequently before the Auto time the following morning. Had to replace the one I had and the new one has the same problem. But if you brew as soon as you fill the reservoir with water, it’s a great brew.

Removable, viewable tank is the main reason I got this machine. All of the internal tanks, coffee grounds holder filter basket and internal coffee tank are removable and easy to wash. Cup tray is removable and unit sits high enough to accommodate tall mugs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've only had it since Christmas but, so far it works great. Once I determined the amount of coffee grounds needed to suit my taste, it's working just fine. The easy setup and cleanup makes it a joy to work with.

I have owned several DCC-3000 coffee makers over the last several (>10) years in my primary home and a second home. I recently purchased two new DCC-3000P1 tank-type coffee makers after one of mine would continuously overflow its coffee grinds basket, making a mess of the inside lid, basket and tank of the coffee maker. While the new ones were nearly identical, one had the identical tapered gold filter basket as my previous DCC-3000s while the other had a slightly different, slightly smaller, more uniformly round gold filter basket. Oddly enough, of my two new DCC-3000P1 makers, the one with the old style basket overflows just like my previous one while the one more round basket does not. Very frustrating that I unnecessarily replaced a good DCC-3000 when all I probably needed to do is find the new-style gold filter basket. Very frustrating!
