I believe that this is the third one that we have purchased over the past 15 years, at least.
What we love about it: the dispenser light, no carafe, level gauge to see how much is left, stays relatively hot for 4 hours, the dispenser bar (bought the first one for that reason alone so Mom, in her nineties could easily get her coffee).
The only drawback is cleaning the unit that holds the coffee. Grounds get caught in there and some black flakes but hubby does a good job of thoroughly cleaning it.

I like not having a coffee pot to clean up & possibly break; I had an earlier model similar to this unit, and it finally died after 12 years of faithful service ! I've been very happy with Cuisinart products.

This is the third or fourth Coffee on Demand programmable coffeemaker I've owned in about 20 years. It's my absolute favorite. Keeps coffee warm longer than one with a pot, and it's easy to clean. Thanks Cuisinart for continuing to make this great little item!
