Easy push button dispenses coffee. Uses more water to rinse and clean than a typical carafe. This is my third purchase of this model because I like the one touch lever to dispense coffee. On average they last 2-3 years before various parts fail.

This one replaced my 3 year old original. Great coffee maker overall. The original started leaking and was not fixable, despite a valiant attempt. Keeps coffee nice and hot. Convenient serving design.

We bought this particular coffee pot because our previous one had stopped working after 14 years. It was exactly the same coffee pot that we just bought so why would I not buy another one. Having a coffee machine for 14 years is pretty good. One of the main reasons that I originally liked my Cuisinart was because it had no actual coffee pot. I brew my coffee, put my coffee mug underneath the dispenser and fill my coffee cup. No coffee pot to clean. The only negative I have on this new pot is the cord is way too short. The coffee pot sits on the counter and I plug it into the receptacle on the wall but my cord is too short to reach the receptacle. My husband had to get a short extension so we could plug the coffee machine in. I’m hoping this coffee machine lasts another 14 years.

Excellent drip coffee maker! I got tired of the stale tasting pod coffee, decided to grind beans and go back to auto drip coffee maker and more than happy I did! I bought a different brand machine in the beginning and was disappointed, returned it and found this Cuisinart coffee on demand. Not only is it a much nicer looking machine, it has all of the functions I want, but the difference in the taste of the coffee is superior! I believe the shower head is key to better tasting coffee. Love the ability to program the coffee to be ready for when I wake up. You can program the machine to keep your coffee warm for up to 4 hours after brewing and since it has a tank for holding the coffee to keep the coffee warm, it does not taste burnt even up to the 4 hour point. I also love that you dispense the coffee one cup at a time. I sip coffee through out the morning and this function makes it simple to keep the temp perfect! So happy I found this machine very happy with it and would definitely purchase again!

OK, lots of great improvements over the last model. Love the pouring light so you can see how full your cup is. Give me an a for that. But, you still use the same plunger to release the coffee into the cup. If not for that plunger, I would still be using, my old Cuisinart. So please come up with a new plunger or at least a quick and easy way to replace it once it gets crusty and begins to leak. Lastly, whose idea was it to drain all the water from the top showerhead if you will into the coffee dispenser ? You take everything out to clean everything out and as soon as you do all the water runs down into the only area that’s not supposed to get wet. This is another design flaw. Otherwise, I am totally happy with my Cuisinart.

We loved this coffee maker so much, we bought a 2nd one. We originally purchased this 12 cup coffee maker 7-8 years ago. It finally crapped out (leaking and just generally old) and we purchased the exact same one. Very happy with the purchase!.

Exactly what I was looking for but leaked. A piece of plastic was in my coffee one morning. From what I can see, looks like it came from the button mechanism but can't be sure. As the coffee brews it starts dripping out coffee without the button being pushed so always have to have a cup underneath it so had to switch back to an older coffee maker. Is there a known defect with this leaking?
