I really love it. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the top of the coffee area doesn’t stay up or open to add the coffee. One has to open it all the way up therefore we have to move it to the edge of the counter to add coffee or to remove for cleaning.

Fantastic, easy to use coffee machine. Though I preferred my previous machine that had a built-in grinder, that thing would clog all the time and there was no easy way to unclog the accumulated ground beans after a few years. The operation on this machine is very easy and the gas gauge-like interface has that nice "cool" factor. Easy to clean too. Hits all the marks = 5 stars!

I have owned other Cuisinart products and I have found them to be reliable and durable. I liked the On-Demand aspect because we rise at different times and the coffee has been hot without that burnt taste from regular coffeemakers. I have had to replace broken glass coffee pots numerous times and that will never be an issue with this coffeemaker. The unit makes the coffee (12 cups) quickly, not Star Trek replicator fast, but maybe someday. Easy to clean easy to use, and not overly complicated. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.
