It’s great for roasting veggies! It gets up to temperature really quick! So much faster than the oven. I notice for oven recipes that sometimes you have to decrease the temperature because the outside of the food will heat up too quickly otherwise. It takes less time though even with decreasing the temperature than the oven recipe will say.

I purchased this Cuisinart toaster oven to replace my prior Cuisinart toaster oven of over 13 years (which still works great). After hours of researching toaster ovens, I decided to purchase this brand and model due to the online reviews from various sources, my prior experience with Cuisinart products, and great price. I use this toaster oven everyday, several times a day. Some of the things that I love about this toaster oven is that it is big enough to replace using a regular oven, food comes out crispy, and it remembers settings. I would buy this toaster oven again and again. It is the best!

Every bit as good as the older model and better. That's the because the added SPEED CONVECTION function makes it an air fryer which makes great fries. Just get a compatible Cuisinart fryer basket and wahlah, you got yourself a air fryer.

the Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven, Stainless Steel, (TOB-260N1) is a great oven. big enough for baking and cooking that I would usually use my double oven for but small enough to fit on the countertop. 12" pizza... no problem. side of veggies for dinner... no problem. cupcakes... no problem. toasting 12 slices of bread... no problem. need convection?... no problem. the built in timers and two stage cooking are a game changer. I kept my old cusinart 20 years because I was afraid of change. stupid me. I should have upgraded years ago. this oven looks better, heats fast, cooks better and has features that allow me to spend more time on other food prep and complicated cooking while it does all the work. if you have a small place or need an compact oven I recommend it! a great choice if you have a high speed double oven for show but want a countertop "toaster oven" for daily cooking. worth the price for Cuisinart quality, fit and finish. did I mention that the stainless finish looks awesome? one note: make sure you have a few inches of ventilation space right, left and above this bad boy because it gets hot and needs space to radiate heat and avoid melting plastics or flammable items (napkins, etc).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit as a replacement for an existing Cuisinart Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven I purchased years ago. The older unit is still functioning but I wanted an upgrade to a newer unit.

This has been a great toaster oven but the thermostat died and even though the toaster oven is still for sale, there are no parts available for it.

Loved this initially. Now the light no longer works and it overheats like crazy! I have to turn it down by 100 degrees on the bake setting or it burns everything. This is less than 3 years old.

Best oven on the market

My oven is going on 10 years and I have used it almost every day (340 days or more) since I purchased it without ANY problems at all. Ten minutes ago I took out a pecan banana bread from the oven which looks amazingly golden brown. I bake whole chickens, hams, all kinds of pies and I thought of buying another oven but will wait for this one to break some day. I usually clean the grates and the bottom insert but that is all. I have never cleaned the inside walls as it seems to be still in excellent condition.
