I don’t have a regular oven, so use this one for baking, broiling, toasting, everything you want to cook. I love it and use the convection cooking mode most of the time.

Here's the main problem. The toaster oven works great up until the ERL error code we get. And then it's dead. We're on our 3rd oven as this error code happens easily within the warranty coverage. Plus side is the customer service is responsive and both times got a new one to us relatively quickly. But we also get the feeling that this is a known issue that is not getting resolved. I'm not looking forward to when we get that ERL code again, but next time just outside the warranty period.

Bought this to replace a Breville that only lasted 3 years. While this one works, it just does not compare to the Breville regarding user interface. If you mistakenly hit the wrong time or temperature, you have to press start then stop before you can start reprogramming it to the correct time/temp. If you see the timer getting low, you can only add 1 min, in 30 second increments. The Breville had a knob where you could add as much time as you wanted. The rack doesn't pull out with the door as smoothly as the Breville. The menu scroll is not user friendly...the option you are currently on will not be bolded, it will be lighter color so that you cannot see it as well to pick it, making it hard to select it. If I didn't already have a toaster oven, these features wouldn't bother me. I will say that the Cuisinart does seem to be hotter, although I haven't actually tested the temperature. All in all, it is mediocre, so we replaced it with a Breville which hopefully won't die in 3 years.

This is our second Cuisinart toaster oven and it is spacious, easy to use and multifaceted. Giving three stars because this one was a replacement for the exact model that was about two years old that stopped working without any warning - only an obscure error message on the screen to which there was no reference in the owners manual
I DO want to commend Cuisinart customer service for the prompt response and the replacement unit.

I personally loved my old Cuisinart but that model was discontinued. This new one I like but I don't love. It seems like there is spots that don't heat the same on both sides and we only purchased it 2 months ago.
