A nice feature of this toaster oven is that you don't have to warm up the oven before heating up food. It also has an interior light which is very useful and you can shut it off manually. You can safely cook anything. The toaster oven was recommended to me and has lived up to its reputation.
We took the Wirecutter's recommendation in good faith and purchased this toaster oven. We are delighted with it after 1 month. Works great and has intuitive user interface which we find easy to use.
The plus sides of this Convection Toaster Oven are many: the size, the two racks, the many different preprogrammed tasks, the auto shut-off timer, the memory of the last settings for each task, the convection fan. The cherry on top is the Speed Convection that allows the oven to double as an air fryer. The only drawback I found is the toast function. I cook for one, and my two slices of traditional whole wheat sourdough turned out dry, rather than toasted. My fix was to turn the time all the way to 7, and not put the bread in until the calrods were red hot. Definitely recommend it with that caution.
Simple to use, spacious but still fits under my cabinet. The top get quite warm but nowhere near hot enough to cause a problem with the cabinet which is 6”-8” above the surface. I’m very happy with how fast and evenly food cooks and would highly recommend this oven.
My husband and I are first time toaster oven owners/users. This oven is a little bigger than other's but I'm so glad it is our first! The manual and recipes made it easy to learn. Heating pizza and nachos tastes so much better than when microwaved. We are saving on the electric bill by not heating the big oven as often. It is easy to clean and I like that the shelf pulls out automatically on some settings.
