Unfortunately, I had to return the oven. Twice. Because the door did not close properly. Both ovens had a gap between the door and the oven at the upper right side of the door, which I discovered when using the 1st oven I bought because heat escaped through gap, causing food to cook unevenly. After returning the 1st oven, I ordered a replacement. Upon opening the box, I could see the same gap between the door and the oven at the right upper side, so did not even take it out of the box but returned it to the store. I subsequently saw a review from someone who found the same defect in 3 of these ovens. Very disappointing.

We've had the TOB 260N1 toaster oven for ~6 months and it has worked very well. My previous toaster oven was used primarily for toast but we've found ourselves using this oven more for actual cooking due to its convenience and versatility. It is large enough to cook a meal for our family of four. We feel the quality is excellent and hope it lasts us for many years of use. The Cuisinart warranty of 3 years is the best on the market, I believe. By the way, it makes great toast as well. We are very pleased with this oven.

I have had 2 of these toaster ovens. I returned the first one because the writing came off the knobs but the second one did the same thing. They cook great and have a lot of features but they REALLY need to do something about their knobs. Apparently if you get grease on your fingers or I'm not sure what else the lettering comes off the knobs. I didn't use any cleaners that would have done this, it was just every day use. Therefore you can't read any of the knobs. I love it but not knowing which knobs are what is annoying. I feel for the price of this product the writing should stay on the knobs. Not sure if they will post this after a bad review.

I have to rate the oven a 3 for one big reason: Certain cooking types, such as broil, have fixed, unchangeable temperatures and times. Every cooking type should be completely variable on time and temperature. The fixed time or temperature forces a person to have to watch the item being cooked to stop or change the cooking instead of being able to start the cycle and then go do other meal preparation. If I have known this oven had these preset modes, I would have done more searching before buying a convection oven.

This oven works great and is large enough to accommodate almost anything we eat. My husband and I are empty nesters, and I was tired of using the oven for cooking small amounts of food for just the two of us. I use this toaster oven for almost everything...it preheats so much faster than my oven. And it's versatile...toast, bagels, baking...and has other functions I haven't tried yet. Very simple to operate as well...I wish I had gotten this years ago!

After way too much research, I finally settled on the Cuisinart Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven. Upon setting up the first toaster oven that I received, I baked a meatloaf in it and noticed steam coming out the right side of the oven door. Closer inspection made it clear that the door did not close properly, thereby constantly releasing heat resulting in higher energy usage. This was unacceptable to me, so I sent it back and reordered the same oven thinking surely that was a fluke. Apparently it's not a fluke, as it was the exact same case with the second oven that arrived. This one didn't even make it out of the box since I could clearly see right down the top of the oven door that it was also slightly ajar on the right hand side. Totally ridiculous that these are how Cuisinart ovens are being shipped out to customers. I ditched Cuisinart altogether and chose a different brand and have been happily baking in it for several weeks now.

I really wanted an air fryer. All the product reviews pointed me to the Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven because “high speed convection is really air frying.” I’m very disappointed and sorry that I purchased this product and not an actual Cuisinart AirFryer. The food I tried air frying, with the exception of a whole chicken, hasn’t been anything different then I could have made in my oven.

So far so good. Still learning. I liked my Breville toaster oven better as an oven, but the Cuisinart does a better job toasting. Once Time is selected on this one, you can only shorten it by stopping and setting up from scratch again. The Breville made it easy to do this. Since it is not sold as an air fryer trying to find instructions for using it as an air fryer are hard to find. The main reason I bought this was to use it as an air fryer instead of using up more counter space with another separate appliance. Supposedly using the Speed Conv button on this will allow me to do this, but I haven't tried yet. More research required.
