We have used most of the functions for this appliance and we love it!! It performs great as a toaster, bagel toaster, convection oven and pizza cooker. We don’t even use our regular oven anymore.
I like this oven, it's just defective. It shuts down without notice and resets, so if you don't watch it every second, you'll come back to undercooked (or uncooked) food. I've contacted Cuisinart and they said they would send me a replacement right away but that was several weeks ago and I still have this defective oven I can't depend on.
So far so good. Still learning. I liked my Breville toaster oven better as an oven, but the Cuisinart does a better job toasting. Once Time is selected on this one, you can only shorten it by stopping and setting up from scratch again. The Breville made it easy to do this. Since it is not sold as an air fryer trying to find instructions for using it as an air fryer are hard to find. The main reason I bought this was to use it as an air fryer instead of using up more counter space with another separate appliance. Supposedly using the Speed Conv button on this will allow me to do this, but I haven't tried yet. More research required.
I have never owned a toaster oven but I like this very much. Sadly, I thought it could be used as an air fryer, because of a review on Wirecutter but it does not crisp the food. I have also broiled hamburgers in it and there is no char. The "toast" feature and all the other settings work great. I'm still trying to figure out the convection part ... it seems to cook too fast but that could be user error.
I like the size and efficiency. It cooks like a real oven. My only disappointment is that I got this for the connection/air fryer capability and that doesn't seem to work as well as the other functions, in my opinion.
great toaster. great convection oven. energy efficient. very easy and instinctive to use. very good for fish. good both as an additional oven and for single meals. easy to clean.
This is the second Cuisinart Toaster Oven I've owned. My old one was still in really good shape after eight years, and now my son and his family have inherited it for more years of service. Now, as for the new one, there's not much to dislike about it. Operating it is a breeze and it's easily understood. I like that the crumb tray pulls out from the front unlike my older model. My only complaint is that when you pull the rack out, it dips down and sometimes I feel like my dish is going to slide out. If it weren't for that, I would have given it five stars.
