The oven overall is outstanding. The unit is now almost 2mos old and I'm hearing the fan quite clearly (almost whistling) when using the super convection setting. Other than that I've been extremely happy with my purchase!

Outstanding Countertop Convection Toaster Oven

My 26 year old doubleoven's motherboard recently burned out and cannot be fixed nor replaced! I found I must wait 6 months or more for a replacement oven to arrive! I purchased the Cuisinart Chef's Convection Toaster Oven as I must have an oven to use. I found it to be easy to set up and use. It even bakes more evenly than my previous doubleoven. I have tried many of my favorite dishes that can be accomodated by the size of the oven and am quite pleased with the outcome of all! I plan to keep the Chef's oven alongside of the new doubleoven (whenever it arives) as it is so accurate and handy! The time to preheat is less than half of what a regular size oven takes!

Door stays a little open on the right top. Needs a lot of ventilation because odors are exaggerated. Overall it is an excellent product.

This item is so highly rated by Wirecutter, which is why we purchased it. We're still working to figure out the right temperature and timing for "air-frying," which has made the transition to this oven a bit of a struggle. But we are determined to conquer! Wirecutter just published some helpful information today, so we are working to use it to its fullest. Meanwhile, it rocks toast!
Also, I bought the Cuisinart air-fryer tray, but it doesn't seem to fit on the included pan...?

I love this toaster oven! As a single person, it's perfect for me for small-batch baking - or regular sized baking. It bakes homemade bread much more efficiently than my full-sized oven and heats evenly. The pizza stone is great and it does cook pizza exceptionally well. I have a lot more to explore with this oven but so far it's perfect.

This oven is the best toaster oven ever. We had one just like it, we wore it out and replaced it with the exact same one. We use it every day for toast, pizza, garlic bread etc. The large capacity allows you to cook food quick and perfectly.

I love the functions of the oven, but in less than one year, it stopped functioning (temperature setting did not work - went to maximum temperature even with lowest setting. Then it showed an "erl" code on the display. Initially unplugging reset the oven, but it eventually stopped working all together. Cuisinart did replace it though! Fingers crossed that the replacement lasts longer than one year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
