Love our new convection toaster oven. Especially love the non stick surfaces. We purchased a different brand for our last toaster oven and were never as happy with it. Well worth the money.
This oven meets all my expectations. I bought it after the heating element on my stove still wouldn't work after being replaced. It just didn't make sense to replace the stove at this time. With the bake function everything has turned out much better than it did in the big oven. It preheats extremely fast. I haven't used the pizza setting yet but expect that will be just as good.
Well worth the expense. I have used the oven in some way every day. I recommend purchasing the air frying basket also. I have even used the oven to bake my mini sourdough loaves and they are just as good as the ones from my regular oven. A Nice feature is the reheat setting for heating up those leftovers. I don’t toast much bread in it as I think the toaster does a better job. I have used the basket with the convection feature to roast veggies and make “fried” items. Held off getting this as it does take up a bit of counter real estate but am glad I did. Plan to also use this in our RV.
Does what I need it to do. After a few uses, I needed to reduce the settings (time) for toasting/bagels. It makes no sense to me to advise me to unplug after every use and also to have options that would constantly need to be reset (clock, loudness of beeping). That aside, I find it easy to use, despite my being a bit confused by the documentation. I usually prefer to read all the documentation and think I understand how it works before I even plug it in, but a lot of things became much clearer (and simpler) once I actually used it. I don't cook much and haven't tried dual timings or anything more complex than toast, bagels (frozen and thawed), and regular baking of frozen pizza (in a pan, not on the stone). I also don't use convection features (I dislike noise). (The beep satisfies my need for less noise, but I do get distracted waiting for things to cook and should probably turn it up so it's not so easy to ignore. So far the low level hasn't been a problem, though.)
I found this convection toaster oven when I checked out air fryers on Wirecutter. Intrigued, I read a lot of reviews and did lots of research before purchasing because I don’t eat bread, or pizza, and I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually use it.
I didn’t realize how much I was missing by reheating leftovers in a microwave. Food just tastes better when you bake or roast it, and dishes like lasagna can be meal prepped from scratch in single servings. The dual cook function enables you to bake the lasagna and then the broiler switches on for a couple minutes to brown the cheese.
I’ve baked casseroles in 8x8 dishes, made pizzas on chaffles, roasted vegetables, done sheet pan dinners for 1-2 people and on and on. I would give up my food processor AND stand mixer before I would part with this toaster oven. It has brought the joy back to mealtimes.
