I researched this quite a bit. My previous toaster oven was a Kitchen Aid that stopped working within a couple of weeks after the warranty expired. I hope I fair better with Cuisinarts. The reviews were really good for this product. I even found some high praise for this toaster oven on by real users on YouTube. I've only used it for a couple of months so far and for now I'm very happy with it. I hope it continues to work this good 3 years from now.

It’s excellent. I am almost glad the gas is off for repairs in our bldg which is why I bought it. Trick. Leave oven for slightly open when broiling. There’s a detente that keeps it about an inch open. Keeps it dry in there so steaks etc get crispy surface. Only negative thing, it’s not great is baking goods like brownies. It turns down but still leaves on top burner. So even with Convection off it dries baked goods out after even far less baking time than usual. Lower temp doesn’t work either. Perhaps, there’s a work around, but I haven’t figured it out. Works great on every else. Especially roasting.

Ok. I love this little convection oven. Since I got this oven, I rarely had to use my big kitchen oven. It will take a 10" cast iron skillet (with handle). I use it to bake corn bread. I've baked bread, cornbread, casseroles and much more in this oven. Unfortunately, after 2 years of use, the thermostat quit working. Fortunately this little oven had a 3 year warrenty that the manufacturer did not even flinch about supporting. So, now I am baking again with a new Cuisinart Chef's Convection Toaster Over and I love it.

I like this oven, it's just defective. It shuts down without notice and resets, so if you don't watch it every second, you'll come back to undercooked (or uncooked) food. I've contacted Cuisinart and they said they would send me a replacement right away but that was several weeks ago and I still have this defective oven I can't depend on.

My 26 year old doubleoven's motherboard recently burned out and cannot be fixed nor replaced! I found I must wait 6 months or more for a replacement oven to arrive! I purchased the Cuisinart Chef's Convection Toaster Oven as I must have an oven to use. I found it to be easy to set up and use. It even bakes more evenly than my previous doubleoven. I have tried many of my favorite dishes that can be accomodated by the size of the oven and am quite pleased with the outcome of all! I plan to keep the Chef's oven alongside of the new doubleoven (whenever it arives) as it is so accurate and handy! The time to preheat is less than half of what a regular size oven takes!

I found this convection toaster oven when I checked out air fryers on Wirecutter. Intrigued, I read a lot of reviews and did lots of research before purchasing because I don’t eat bread, or pizza, and I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually use it.
I didn’t realize how much I was missing by reheating leftovers in a microwave. Food just tastes better when you bake or roast it, and dishes like lasagna can be meal prepped from scratch in single servings. The dual cook function enables you to bake the lasagna and then the broiler switches on for a couple minutes to brown the cheese.
I’ve baked casseroles in 8x8 dishes, made pizzas on chaffles, roasted vegetables, done sheet pan dinners for 1-2 people and on and on. I would give up my food processor AND stand mixer before I would part with this toaster oven. It has brought the joy back to mealtimes.

I LOVE this oven! I purchased my first one, same model, 3 years ago. When I moved to a smaller apartment, I reluctantly gave it to my daughter who loves it also. I then purchased an Emil Lagrasse oven which fit perfectly in my allotted corner...I did NOT like it, but? I felt it never worked properly, couldn't broil without both top and bottom rods on, fan blew stuff everywhere, etc. Let's just say I was very happy when it died completely (within a year!) I was thrilled to find the same oven, same model still available. Now I'm a happy camper, with just a bit less counter space...a fab trade-off.

It’s nice looking. That’s about all I have to say that’s positive about this toaster oven. I’ve given it many chances, I’ve tried different settings, yet somehow it manages to burn every pizza while leaving it still frozen. The controls are odd and not easy to use. It takes up a ton of space, the biggest toaster oven they could make before it has to be called just an oven.
