First let me start by saying that I really do like this little oven and use it constantly. But my biggest gripe is that the pizza setting does not work. It did not work on the first oven I purchased, and it does not work on the replacement oven sent to me by Cuisinart through the warranty program. On both ovens, it stays in "preheating" mode and the timer never engages. The timer beep is also very quiet and easy to miss if you're in the next room, which I don't love. All other features work relatively well, so unless you have your heart set on the pizza settings and/or a loud timer, I would say it's worth a try.

We chose this oven because of the Cuisinart reputation for good products and the features of this toaster oven. We have had several Cuisinart products (including a food processor and a stick blender) for several years and they have served us well. My husband and I really enjoy this toaster oven. The oven preheats quickly. It is large capacity and holds a 9x13 inch pan (without handles) and so we can easily prepare a relatively large amount of food at one time. This oven takes a lot less energy than our stove oven and, during the summer, we could bake without heating up the whole house. Recently we have been getting an error message: "ERL". We don't know what this means. We have been able to reset the screen by unplugging the oven, leaving it unplugged for 10 minutes or so, then plugging it in again. We are concerned about this problem and hope the oven is not going to stop functioning!

When our Breville Smart Oven finally failed, we thought there was no way we would replace it with any other brand. But after reading the reviews and the many features of this Cuisinart oven we decided to make a change (we also hold our other Cuisinart appliances in high regard, e.g. a food processor more than 20 years old and still works flawlessly). We are so pleased we did. It does everything the Breville did but in many ways better. The controls are intuitive, it has an interior light, does multi-function cooking (e.g. bake then broil), and so far has exceeded our expectations as to the quality of baking, roasting, toasting, etc. And, for an additional bonus, it was priced better. Bravo Cuisinart!

The product works well and is easy to use. My only complaint is that if you don’t open the door completely, it snaps shut which poses a threat of getting burned. Also, as I’ve read in other reviews, the timer starts counting down as soon as the oven reaches the desired temperature so, if you don’t place your item in exactly when the bell dings, you have to cancel the setting and reprogram it.

This is a replacement of 10? Yr old toaster oven from same manufacturer. Love the new features which includes easy to use selector dial, timer, feature for number of slices of toast or muffins. Convection fan is so quiet we have to check that it’s on. Footprint is a little wider than the one it replaced but depth and height are similar and great. Two racks w four possible positions. Love it
