This is a great little oven and it works well. The only thing that bothers me is the door does not shut completely. I googled this issue and it is common in this oven. I took a towel and put it just above the hinges and put some pressure on it and it helped a little. I also have 2 strong magnets that I use to help hold the door closed while in use.
We've had good results so far with one concern. When closed, the door remains slightly open on the right side. A stream of steam exits this opening. Is that normal?
Pretty good toaster oven with nice features. However I’m skeptical if the temperature reading is correct. I put a magnetic thermometer inside the unit - when I set it to 450 and it says it’s “preheated,” the thermometer reads about 415.
Bought this to simplify the countertop. It works as a toaster oven, convection oven, and when “speed convection” is chosen, it works like an air fryer, though this is not mentioned in any of the written materials. I got the idea to use it that way from Wirecutter. So far, it’s working very well for all 3 functions. The only small issue is that a lot of recipes want more nuanced temps than the available 25° increments. This has not negatively affected any dishes yet. To be fair, it is possible to add cooking time in 30-second increments. Haven’t tried that yet but seems to be only a minor inconvenience.
This is the perfect ‘toaster oven+’! I use it primarily for actually making toast and rewarming leftovers. I’ve used it to make pizza on the included pizza stone. It’s literally just perfect. I also think it would make a fantastic wedding or housewarming present.
Love it! Use it almost daily. I prefer to use it over my full size oven because I am often cooking for one person and that seems wasteful. It makes excellent cookies, lasagna, bread, and toast. Additionally, I like using it to reheat food.
