Well priced coffee pot upgrade from previous pots

I replaced my reliable black and decker coffee maker with this model from cuisinart. I had previously experienced a cuisinart with also good success, but did not get the same rating from my spouse. In the current situation of making maybe 20 pots of coffee, here are the pluses: excellent flavor, never tastes burnt even at the very end of the pot, coffee is hotter than my previous maker so I can sip it to the last drop in my cup without getting cold, I like the way the coffee grounds basket clicks down into the holder and never overflows, I like that the basket never drips and that the water fill window is easy to see and is accurate.
The only negatives: the handle on the pot is open on the bottom and though the water from the dishwasher flows out, occasionally food particles from the dishwasher can get trapped in the handle requiring an extra rinse out. And very minor, the last tablespoon of coffee in the pot stays in the pot because of the thickness of the plastic around the rim.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this brand so that why I bought another coffee pot with them. I wanted to change things up and went from black to white. Although it’s perfect in every way, I wish I didn’t get white. Coffee pools on the lid and now it always looks dirty.

Make sure you put the rack on the higher level. I put mine on the lower one.. and it burned my toasts and brownies. Also it started smoking.
