I needed to replace an old toaster oven that had served me well for over 12 years, so I started reviewing the different brands. This Cuisinart model was almost the exact size as my previous appliance, and offered convection baking in addition to the toaster and regular oven settings. I have now become a proponent of convection cooking, it makes reheating so easy and leaves the food crispy. I do not re-heat french fries or pizza in a microwave any more! This device has settings for the most popular uses, like bake, broil, toast, and bagel. It's so nice to have a bagel setting which only uses the top heating element. The crumb tray slips out easily for cleaning and the timer is a great feature. My toast now comes out perfect and I use this oven more than my regular kitchen oven.

This has been a great purchase! Toast comes out just right, with a timer to tell you when it's done. Baked biscuits and the heat was even throughout the oven. Can't wait to try cookies too!
