I have a barely month old Cuisanart toaster oven. The user’s manual recommends cleaning the interior after each baking/roasting to prevent build-up. i tried this, with no success.

90% of the time, it’s perfect. The other 10% of the time, something goes haywire and our food is ruined. I think it’s that the preheat never stops - just gets hotter and hotter, blackening everything inside. Example- frozen bagels, 325 for 5 min. About 1 in 10 is burned before preheating beeps while the other 9 are perfection.

I don't have a white one but it still makes coffee. I have a black one, so it makes black coffee. You have to add cream for white coffee. It is best to add the cream after it brews. Same with sugar. The gold filter leaves a horrible residue. Paper filters are much, much better. Aluminum filters are also bad. The warmer is a hotter, keeping your brewed coffee hotter than when it brewed - usually called Navy coffee. They do not make extra carafes for this model so be careful not to pour cold water on the hot carafe for your cold brew. Works best when plugged in, otherwise a very long brew time. Better overall brew because of the shower head water spray over the grounds instead of single spout drip which takes longer to wake up the shredded beans. Not self-cleaning, so do not brew without water. The 1-4 cup control actually works only if you use 1-4 cups of water and the same amount of scooped grounds. Be careful to properly seat the filter assembly or you will be cleaning up very hot coffee and grounds from whatever it sits on. So f you don't properly seat the filter assembly, it would be better to put the machine in a deep sink for ease of cleanup. Get a black ont - the coffee turns out better.

This replaces a larger toaster oven. So far it has worked fine. I coated the controls with clear nail polish after reading other reviews about the lettering wearing off. Heats quickly and cooks as desired. It is the most expensive toaster oven I have ever purchased, so hopefully it lasts awhile.

The convection oven works really well. My complaint is with the controls. The 4 setting on toast burns the toast. The 3 setting doesn't toast it. The three setting with Defrost burns the toast. The 2 setting with Defrost doesnt toast it. The shades need finer, like 1 through 30 instead of 1 through 7. I have a similar complaint about the bake settings. You can only set the temperature on factors of 25 so if your recipe calls for 420 degrees or 285, you're out of luck. You have to guess. Because the controls aren't finely graded enough, I give this "toaster" oven only 3 stars.

My coffee maker brews delicious coffee. And I like the smaller 1-4 cup brewing option. The only complaint I have is that the coffee decanter handle is open on the bottom. You cannot wash it in the dishwasher as the handle will just fill up with water. I called customer service about it and the representative said that was normal. That the handle was not closed at the bottom. I feel this is a poor design. The handle should be closed.
