PRO: controls are very easy to use CON: coffee is too hot 195 degrees, lid should be hinged, very difficult for arthritic fingers to remove. opening to fill reservoir is very small and difficult to do without spillage. carafe doesn't empty out, leaving some in the pot

My wife and I are somewhat disappointed in this toaster oven. It seems to be on the hot side on most of the settings. A previous other brand oven would need a 6 on bagels.. this one I put on 3 and it is almost burnt around the edges and I have it on the rack the quick guide shows me to use..We find we have to watch everything, even toast, when we put it in so we don't burn it... not a happy camper ..

The oven appears to be functioning as advertised. However, the unit is very difficult to keep clean. It is advertised as "easy to clean" which is not true. Particularly the pan you insert is impossible to clean - have tried cleanser, Dawn power spray and other cleaners to no avail. We cover the pan with aluminum foil, but if anything seeps below, it stains the pan and looks very unsanitary.

The coffee maker is fine, but one feature I didn't notice when I purchased it is that the pot handle does not have a hinged lid like every pot I've ever seen. You have to pry it off and line it up to open up the pot and reattach the lid. Very inconvenient if you want to add a bit more water or something. So annoying is this that we dug in the cupboard and found an old pot that fits perfectly and works just fine with this brewer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is not like previous Cuisinart coffee makers we have had in the past. The top does not flip up allowing you to easily fill without removing it. The coffee is not the same, it has a bitter taste (the coffee we use is the same as we have used previously). The top of the unit drips water when you open it, which results in constant clean up. We have been unable to determine how the auto shut off works, even after reading directions. We were able to set it to the number of hours we wanted, but now do not know how to turn it on. Overall Mr. Coffee would probably be a better investment.

I have a barely month old Cuisanart toaster oven. The user’s manual recommends cleaning the interior after each baking/roasting to prevent build-up. i tried this, with no success.
