Nice appliance --Needs getting used to

This is a sleek, attractive, compact appliance which does the job well. I have cooked and toasted so far. The controls are VERY difficult to read on the buttons, but the illuminated window clearly shows you what settings you have selected, even in the dark. And unlike my previous toaster oven, the inside is so dark while I'm toasting that I can't see how light or well toasted my English muffin is unless I actually open the door. But I love that you can see exactly how much time is left in your toasting cycle. And once you get the hang of the settings, it's pretty easy to adjust to the desired time and amount of cooking. You need to pay attention to the position of the oven rack. If you try to toast when the rack is in the "bake" position, you'll end up with overcooked toast, especially on the bottom. Though this unit is very compact, the inside is surprisingly roomy, while the oven takes up far less space on my counter than my last toaster oven did. Overall, I am happy with the appliance. But there is a learning curve while I figure out how to adjust the settings to get what I want.

Love the coffee, hate the beep!

Love the coffee — makes it, and keeps it hotter than my previous maker (another brand)! Works great, but the beeping noise drives me (and especially my cat) crazy. It would be nice if there was an option to silence it, or at least reduce the volume. Also, it's a little hard to find the best way to fill the reservoir (probably because of the opened lid position). I'm using the Bar Rescue "long pour" method. The carafe is easy to clean due to the wide mouth. Because of this, the detachable lid doesn't bother me.

Not particularly pleased, the coffee maker jams up and it broke two proceeding filter holders.

This is my second Cuisinart Oven. I chose to replace my first one with another that had updated features that I liked. I have been satisfied with Cuisinart.

A toaster oven that fulfill all my household needs

We had a toaster oven from Cuisinart for over 10 years, it started to look dingy, so we purchased a new one. After looking through Amazon's various brands and review, we settle on this one b/c of previous experience. The heating element is metal, so it does take some time to heat up. The convection fan is much quieter than the previous model. After turning the fan on, sometime I didn't even realize it was on. This one capacity is a bit larger due the the back side having a bulge that allow it to accommodate a 12" frozen pizza. Our previous model, we had to cut of a portion of the pizza for it to fit. The toasting function take about 2+ mins for a "2" lightly toasted. There are a couple of times where a #2 toasting caused the toast to be burnt. But then the next toasting it went back to being normal. Not sure what happened there. Cleaning was easy, the crumb trey pulls out from the front instead of back. The reviews did say the buttons' lettering fades easily, so the first thing I do is put clear nail polish over all the button letterings. So far, we are quiet satisfied with it. Hopping for another 10 years of usages.

This is the fifth Cuisinart coffee pot that we’ve purchased. The first four were Stainless and more expensive, so I thought I’d try this less expensive model. Unfortunately the right latch on the lid (plastic) broke off and now I must place something heavy on the lid or the coffee grounds overflow. I tried to purchase a replacement top, but there is not one available for purchase. Disappointed in the quality of this maker.
