Downsizing from a thermal Bunn. It led a long life. I drink less coffee now & I knew Cuisinart was a solid brand. And even though the carafe wasn’t thermal, at least I couldn’t break it. And it has ‘sneak a cup’ while brewing & auto shutoff. It’s called a 5 cup, I drink mugs. It solidly fills two mugs. Review say it leaks when poring. It does if you lean it against your cup. Just hold the carafe up a bit when pouring. Easy to clean…I love it!!!!

While the coffee brewed was fine, this coffee maker does not live up to Cuisinart standards: 1) The coffee flow shut-off valve did not work most of the time (a problem we've never run into with our prior 12-cup Cuisinart coffee makers, 2) The lid over the grinds does not completely, and yet is difficult to open, 3) the reusable coffee mesh is made of plastic rather than copper (you have to separately order a copper one), 4) the On/Off switch is too easily switched on - which has happen to me a couple of times when moving the maker backward after filling the water reservoir, creating a mess, and 5) the metal carafe is made of very thin material and will easily dent. In conclusion this product does not live up to anticipated Cuisinart standards.

I love this little coffee maker, which I got to replace a very Gevalia coffee maker. I did a fair bit of research and initially tried a fancier more expensive model which didn’t live up to the hype. This Cuisinart maker is perfect for one person and great for small kitchens. With good quality beans, the result is an exceptional cup of coffee.

Pretty cute look, but awful design, both lids are not secure in place, and the one for the water reservoir is super loose. The only nice thing about it, is that it has a water filter, but not even that makes it a keeper, the coffee is not warm enough, and once I add the cold almond milk it is like a latte, my plan was to return it, but my partner threw the box away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my little 4-cup Cuisinart coffee pot. I didn’t give it five stars because it doesn’t stay on very long. Other than that it makes a nice hot cup of coffee in the morning.

After owning the Cuisinart 4 cup for probably 8 yrs it began leaking from underneath. My daughter has the newer version of the 4 cup purchased this past year and it, too, brews delicious coffee. The 5 cup made the worst coffee ever. No matter how I adjusted the grinds, the coffee tasted flat and weak. Sadly, I returned it. I miss my 4 cup but it's discontinued.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s fine. It does what I bought it for. I really have nothing else to say. I can blather on about your product but what’s the point? It doesn’t perform miracles. I turn to aGod for that. The machine I bought makes coffee using water and ground coffee beans. The grounds are contained in a paper filter. The heated water drains through the ground coffee and produces the coffee I drink.
