The 5-Cup coffee maker works OK and makes for a very hot coffee, at least for a while. I do not like two features: 1) the machine shuts off keeping the coffee warm/hot after 30 minutes; and 2) it never seems go silent after brewing - it continues to heat water and sounds like it is still brewing until the whole thing shuts off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Cuisinart coffee maker. The first one lasted fifteen years. Thus one brews great coffee, my only complaint is that it’s very noisy every time the reheat kicks on to keep the coffee hot. The old unit was very quiet.

Perfect size for my small kitchen counter space.
Coffee is hot and tastes good.
I especially like the water container since it is clear and easy to see fill line.
I would recommend using cone filters for this product.

The only issue I have is with the lid on the pot.
It does not flip open. Have to remove the top to rinse out.
