This is my third coffee maker since we started RV ing 2 years ago and it’s perfect. I’m a 2 large cup in the morning gal and this is the perfect size and the flavor is very good! The filters and water dispenser make it easy to use and I love that the carafe is unbreakable!

This 5 cup coffee brewer is an exceptional buy ( other brands higher priced) , for its compact size ( great for uncluttering) stainless steel carafe ( No more broken glass),arrives with a reusable mesh filter ( thinking green),
And makes a perfect cup of coffee ( love the 5 cup removable filtered water reservoir). Don’t think about it.. BUY IT!!!

The Cuisinart 5 Cup is average, it does the basic brewing but, it doesn't fill the room with the coffee aroma like I'm used to with my old Mr Coffee. ☕
Pouring hot water on a tea bag generates more aroma than brewing coffee with this Cuisinart ❓
I'd hoped that would change with time but, it hasn't.

The best five-cup coffee machine I’ve ever owned

I love everything about this product. But two things make it outstanding and way better than its competitors. First, this coffee machine uses cone-type coffee filters. I believe cone-shaped coffee filters brew tastier coffee than basket-shaped ones do. As far as I know, this product is the only one that has a cone-shaped coffee filter holder. I really love this feature. Second, this coffee machine has an amazingly light, high quality stainless steel carafe. I am mo longer worried about broken glass carafes. Its removable water tank is a great bonus. I will definitely buy it again.

I just love my Cuisinart 5-Cup Coffeemaker. It is the perfect size for my counter top right beside my Cuisinart stainless steel 2-slice toaster. And the brewed coffee is delicious. I don't have to make coffee runs anymore to local coffee shops!!

However, some design problems.
1. To remove carafe lid, must lift TAB UP! this is counter intuitive!
2. Filer basket lid is too hard to open!
3. Lid to water reservoir has NO TAB and easily falls in when either 0pening or closing .

I gave this review five stars because my Cuisinart excels on rvery point. I’m 80 years old lady and I don’t need anything that causes me problems. I’m picky.
My Cuisinart fits nicely on my counter top and was reasonably priced. I noticed one reviewer mentioned the lip on the carafe caused him to dribble while pouring. I’ve not had this problem.
Perhaps he poured too quickly.
My Cuisinart is easy to use, making my coffee in seven minutes, and cleanup is quick. Because the Carafe is stainless steel, I don’t worry about it breaking and because of Cuisinarts unique filtering system, i can use water straight from the tap—it filters for me. I find there is no need for additional paper filters. I like strong coffee, but I do not like a bitter taste The Cuisinarts carafe filters perfectly so that I get a Consistently smooth cup of coffee every morning. I highly recommend Cuisinart 5 cup coffee maker with stainless steel carafe!
