I purchased this 5 copper after breaking another glass carafe. Being the only coffee drinker, I purchased this because of its size and its carafe. I've had it for approximately 2 weeks and am loving its coffee.

Disappointed that it requires somewhat more than the maximum amount of coffee to make a brew that has any flavor, and only water to the 4 cup mark can be used to make this happen. It is unfortunate that actual brick-and-mortar stores have so few choices; I wanted an insulated carafe model at a reasonable price, but none were offered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

CUTE LIL GADGET! JUST A SMALL APPLIANCE FOR MY TINY KITCHEN COUNTER.
5 CUP CAPACITY JUST RIGHT FOR MY DAY. CLEANS UP QUICKLY. I ALWAYS HAVE USED DISTILLED WATER FOR MY COFFEE MAKERS. I KEEP DROPPING THE TOP INTO THE WATER WHEN I PUT IT ON TOP. HE HE .. THATS THE ONLY THING I HAVE DIFFICULTY WITH.
