I've had this 5 cup brewer a few days but so far I can definitely tell a difference in the taste of my coffee. It really has a quality taste. It's hot and stays hot on the plate. My previous brewed 4 cups in like 60 seconds which I think is why it lost most of the taste. I do 4 cups and it takes a few minutes. So not long but long enough to let the water absorb into the grounds and absorb flavor. I love the reusable filter. I think that helps with more robust flavor. Is basically a plastic coffeemaker and weighs nothing but it is done right. My only issue is that the lid to the filter holder must be kind of locked into place and is hard to pop up because of that. Otherwise for the money, probably better then some expensive brewers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the only coffee makers with a metal carafe, which I find so much easier to keep intact than a glass one. I had the 4-cup version for many years and am so glad Cuisinart continues to offer a metal carafe in a mini size, ideal for my tiny kitchen. The coffee tastes delicious and stays hot in the carafe for quite awhile. I think the coffee
actually tastes better than the 4-cup version, which was good. The warmer plate is a better quality as well, and doesn’t seem like it will corrode. The only weak area is the dripping that occurs when one removes the filter holder—a fair amount of water condenses on the lid and drips down, but it’s not a major problem. I recommend this coffee maker!

purchased recently within past 2-3 months…cuisinart 5 cup coffee ☕️ maker operates as should the coffee is delicious and toasty however I do grind my own coffee beans 🫘 using a cuisinart coffee grinder…satisfied with purchase…..

We wanted to replace our old Cuisinart 4 cup stainless steel carafe coffee maker and this was about the only thing out there that we liked on the shelves in our local kitchen appliance store. It takes up a little more space on the counter than the old one, but is attractive and works really well. We love the mesh basket that’s included in this model and we love that if we want to, we can use a paper filter.
