Overall the coffeemaker is satisfactory. It however is not as good as my old 4 cup Cuisinart it is replacing. Once the coffee has brewed, the basket drips onto the warming plate when the carafe is removed. Once the basket is removed, you must dry the inside of the basket holder or put a saucer on the warming plate to catch the drips of water. The rim of the carafe collects water in the dishwasher and requires rinsing after washing to make sure there is no dishwasher residue trapped. Also, the lid which covers the basket is difficult to open. If Cuisinart had kept the same design as the old 4 cup and just made it a 5 cup capacity, this would be a better machine.

This little guy brews coffee perfectly and fits my small kitchen. This coffee maker does not disappoint. Shows off the typical Cuisinart quality with a beautiful little stainless steel pot. I just don’t need a large coffee maker anymore so I was thrilled to find this.

I have always had a Cuisinart coffee maker. I have loved each one. I also have my toaster, which has lasted a very long time and is still working. Cuisinart is a brand that I feel is an excellent product.

I gave this review five stars because my Cuisinart excels on rvery point. I’m 80 years old lady and I don’t need anything that causes me problems. I’m picky.
My Cuisinart fits nicely on my counter top and was reasonably priced. I noticed one reviewer mentioned the lip on the carafe caused him to dribble while pouring. I’ve not had this problem.
Perhaps he poured too quickly.
My Cuisinart is easy to use, making my coffee in seven minutes, and cleanup is quick. Because the Carafe is stainless steel, I don’t worry about it breaking and because of Cuisinarts unique filtering system, i can use water straight from the tap—it filters for me. I find there is no need for additional paper filters. I like strong coffee, but I do not like a bitter taste The Cuisinarts carafe filters perfectly so that I get a Consistently smooth cup of coffee every morning. I highly recommend Cuisinart 5 cup coffee maker with stainless steel carafe!

Holding cup start liking from the beginning and I can't make less than 5 cup of coffee at the time.
Very fine ground coffee this machine not able to produce. It creates 4 cups instead of 5 with illy ground coffee. (5 coffee spun on 5 cups of waters)
