Absolutly Excellent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dishwasher cleans perfectly. It is quiet .Incredibly quiet. The heat crystals are MAGIC! My dishes-coffee cups and glassware AND silverware are sanitized! I love the silverware tray on top-so convienient. The 800 series is worth every penny we paid for it. BOSCH is our go-to dishwasher!

Wonderful replacement

Our new Bosch 800

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am happy with this purchase. The unit very quiet and looks really good. Also, it cleans and dries well.
I knew going in that there would be a learning curve on how to load this dishwasher.
I am getting used to the upper utensil rack—and I like it.
I love the configuration of the bottom rack. It was actually why we selected the Bosch over other brands and I am really happy with it.
But I do have a few issues:
The center rack does not hold as much as my previous DW and the configuration is weird. On the left side, the space for loading glasses is smaller than the on the right side, so many of our cups, mugs and glasses do not fit.

Also, there is no logical way to load bowls in the middle rack—you just have to lay them down in the center area. There are no tongs to hold them up and separate them.
The biggest issue though is that, because the dishwasher is so well sealed, it STINKS. I asked a friend who also has a Bosch (in case it was just ours) and hers stinks too.
So I devised a contraption to keep the unit upen slightly when not in use and that has solved the problem. But now the unit does not look as sleek because you can see the control panel. I guess it is the lesser of 2 evils.

Overall—because I like the quiet and I love the bottom rack, I am glad we made the purchase.
I do think the smell issue should be addressed.
