New dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been Bosch dishwasher customers for a number of years, when our 13 year old model 300 dishwasher starting giving us problem we decided to replace the unit. We were extremely pleased with the performance of the old 300 unit. Selected a new model 800 dishwasher an was looking forward to the same great performance and quality of the older 300 model. Was a little disappointed in both performance and quality of the new 800 model. Seems the quality of the racks were substandard to the older 300 model. They seem a little flimsy and not as robust. The washing performance seems very good and as good or better than the older 300 model, the drying is definitely not as good as expected. Leaving water drops on both the plastic and other items like coffee mugs, glasses (on the top, little pools of water) have been following the directions given both in the manual and online.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First time Bosch Dishwasher owner

I installed this dishwasher myself and other than having to purchase an adapter kit for the electrical connection, the installation went pretty smooth. The top rack for silverware is a great feature. This unit cleans well and is quiet. Thumbs up !

Love it but not as much as our old Bosch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New machine works very well but much prefer the racks on our 2013 model. The flexible utensil slots never stay put making them difficult to use. There is also too much open space in the top rack making placement of glasses more challenging.

So quiet you don't even realize it's running!

We've owned 2 othe Bosch dishwashers in the past and they are, by far, the quietest brand! We also like the the patented CrystalDry technology because everything comes out so much dryer. Lastly, the flexible 3rd rack is surprisingly helpful, especially for large utensils.

Love everything about it except…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no visible clean light from the outside! We love everything else about it. It is incredibly quiet. Shelves are sturdy. Tong design enables fitting a ton of stuff. Literally the only pet peeve is no visible indicator from the outside if it’s clean. Only way to tell is to check the Bosch app which I did sync. How is this not a feature?!?! Can a software patch be pushed out for the light that shows when it is running?

Quiet but some drawbacks

Though this dishwasher is extremely quiet, there are two things that are negatives to me. One is that you have to go through multiple steps with horrible instructions in the manual to get a longer drying time. I finally had to resort to the app which I dislike. Second, the utensil basket in ther lower rack is small and just a poor design. Why do appliances have to be controlled on an app? What's wrong with buttons? I liked my dishwasher from 2008 better.
