Highly recommend for anyone wanting reliable filtr

It was easy to install and made an immediate difference in the taste and clarity of our drinking water. No weird aftertaste, just clean and fresh! Stopped working again

This is my 2nd machine and it is having similar issues as the first one. This first one stopped working and GE sent me a new one. I was hopeful and love the ice but now after a few months it has stopped making ice again. I have done all the troubleshooting steps and it is still broken. So frustrating especially considering the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
