[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i haven't had this quite long enough to know if it's truly scale inhibiting, but the install was a bit tricky which was kind of annoying. Still, it's a filter and it works as a filter so.

We know it can take some time to really use this filter, as it does last 3 months before needing to be changed. However, we can guarantee that this filter works excellently. This filter helps remove chlorine taste and odor, allowing you to enjoy your ice every time you make it.

The filter arrived securely packaged in a well-designed box, and the build quality is excellent—sturdy and clearly made for long-term use.

Effective ice filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE profile filter is bulky and a little hard to install, but does a decent job of reducing buildup in the machine. I don’t notice a taste difference but the water in that cycles in the area to be made into ice has a lot less debris floating around in it. All around a decent purchase for cleaner ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to only use distilled water in my ge ice maker but with this I can now use tap water and do not notice a difference in taste or build up in the machine. I think this is a great product although I was a bit confused at first if I installed it correctly but it seems to be working!
