Incredible sound in a simple package!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was effortless, possibly due to my TV also being Samsung. All I had to do was plug in power and HDMI via ARC, and I was off to the races. The TV recognized the sound bar and enabled Q symphony settings.
The sound is crisp and clear, I'm able to watch dialog heavy tv shows at night without waking others and without the need of subtitles.
Bass is nice and punchy which is a welcome change, it also adjusts automatically to the acoustics of the room.

Sounds bars have minimal physical buttons so it's nice that you can tune the sound bar via the Smart Things app.
If you're on the fence about upgrading to a premium soundbar, it's definitely something I wish I had done sooner!

Dialogue is sharp thanks to the dedicated center channel, and the wireless subwoofer adds deep, rich bass that makes everything feel more cinematic. Dolby Atmos support brings a more immersive, three-dimensional soundstage, which really enhances action scenes and surround effects. Like being at the theater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easiest sound bar I’ve ever set up. Sounds great, priced right, and SUPER easy install. Their HDMI system is stellar, can’t recommend enough. Entire install took less than 5 mins.
The sound quality was superb. It’s almost like being at a movie theater at home. It was so loud. Very clear sound.
I also really like the sleek look of the soundbar and the small box was very easy to fit in my entertainment center due to size.
I would definitely recommend this to anybody that is looking for a surround sound. My next goal is to buy the two rear speakers because I think with those it would completely make the perfect set up.

Big Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this soundbar to replace my existing Samsung HW-Q600c, which was a fantastic soundbar/woofer combo to begin with but holy schnikes.. this setup is a huge upgrade in comparison. Setup was plug and play via HDMI eARC (has an additional passthrough HDMI to connect another device/additional gaming systems) and pairing the sub was a breeze. Unfortunately, my existing SWA 8500S rear expansion speakers wouldnt pair with this model, although to be fair, I never received confirmation from Samsung that they would be compatible. Even without the rear speakers, this thing is crazy. We have barely had the chance to actually crank it up bc it's plenty loud at 1/4 volume as the previous soundbar! The sound quality is super crisp and the sub packs a punch. It has one active speaker and a passive radiator to really fill out the room. The Space Fit Pro feature works crazy good for our setup. We definitely notice a difference between movies with Dolby ATMOS, that's where this thing will have you looking around when you hear a movie sound next to you or behind you lol. Overall volume of this product will make you double check what level its at bc it is plenty loud at lower volumes while still having very clear dialogue come through. Overall, I am very satisfied with the soundbar and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade.

The sound quality is rich and immersive, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X delivering impressive surround effects. Dialogue comes through clearly, even in busy action scenes, which really enhances movie watching. The wireless subwoofer adds deep, punchy bass that fills the room without distortion. Setup was incredibly easy and took less than 10 minutes. I love the Adaptive Sound feature it adjusts automatically depending on what I’m watching. The build quality feels solid and the design is sleek and modern. Overall, it’s a premium audio experience that absolutely lives up to the price.

Amazing sound in a soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Attached this to my bedroom TV which used to use the integrated speaker, and WOW what a difference. The bass is massive, and the vocals are so clear with the various modes I can toggle, like Active Voice Amplifier Pro and Voice Enhancement. Adaptive sound really does make it come to life, and the SpaceFit is a nice touch to consider your room size. Great Atmos abilities, even without the surround speakers.
It's pretty incredible that we have gotten to this point with soundbars. I remember not too long ago that soundbars would not be taken seriously by audiophiles. That time is clearly over.

Extraordinary music experience

After connecting the phone to the HW-800Q through bluetooth and playing FLAC music, I fell in love with it. There is an Apple TV at home that can be connected through HDMI. I play Dolby Atmos movies. Combined with the HW-Q800F ring sound effect, it can play 5.1 channels of Stereo sound, with deep bass and full treble. The sound is really great, very similar to watching it in a cinema. I like this effect very much. If you have Samsung TV, wireless connection soundbars is also very convenient. Even if I use my MacBook and iPhone, I hate it for easy connection, so I will recommend Samsung soundbars equipment to my friends!

Great Audio Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung HW-Q800F soundbar for a few days now, and I have to say—it’s one of the best audio upgrades I’ve made to my home setup. I watch many movies and TV shows, and this soundbar has completely transformed how everything sounds. The clarity of dialogue is excellent, even during action scenes where other systems tend to drown voices out. I didn’t realize how much I was missing until I heard this thing in action.
The Dolby Atmos feature really adds a lot, especially for big movie moments. I don’t have a huge bedroom, but the sound still manages to feel spacious and immersive. I was initially skeptical about the 3.1.2 setup. Still, the up-firing speakers and the Acoustic Beam tech do a great job creating that “surround” effect without needing extra speakers behind me.
The subwoofer is powerful, too—maybe a bit too much at times. I had to dial it down a bit, but once I found the right balance, it added just the right amount of low-end punch without being overwhelming.
The setup was super simple. I connected it to my Samsung TV with HDMI ARC, and they synced up right away. The Q-Symphony feature (which lets the soundbar and TV speakers work together) actually impressed me—it doesn’t sound gimmicky like I feared.
Music playback is surprisingly good, too. I stream a lot through Spotify and AirPlay, and it handles everything from jazz to hip-hop with nice detail and warmth.
If I had to nitpick, I wish the remote was a little more intuitive, but honestly, I mostly control everything through the SmartThings app or my TV remote anyway.
Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a solid mid-to-high range soundbar that delivers awesome performance without a full surround system's complexity. If you’re into movies, gaming, or just better audio, I’d recommend it.
