Think you don't need a soundbar? Think again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical that I needed a soundbar given the small space I had for my TV. But I sure was wrong, I didn't know what I was missing. Since I have set this speaker up it has almost not stopped playing music or used when watching TV. The sound, particularly when using Q-Symphony synced with my Samsung OLED TV, is just so much clearer, deeper, and richer than any TV only speaker system could provide. I love that I can turn the subwoofer on or off (don't need to wake our toddler with the bass!) and when the bass is on it adds depth to the sound without rumbling the whole house. I thought sound like this could only come from clunky and large surround sound systems, but with this setup I may never have to get a bigger system ever again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the soundbar for watching our series, however i would want more bass for those movie nights. Just so we can feel more like a movie theater. Above all though it is awesome for a really good price.

Great Surround Sound Upgrade to our Living Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung HW-Q800F is our first soundbar and we are very pleasantly surprised because we didn't know how much it could improve our movie watching and playing games experience. After years of using only the TV Speakers, getting a soundbar like this is revolutionary. It's just amazing how much depth and clarity it brings to the sound. The dialogue, sound effects, bass are all improved with the surround sound system.
The airplay and alexa support is very convenient and easy to use. Samsung SmartThings application is also a nice to have to control your soundbar from your phone.
The soundbar + subwoofer set is also very well designed and modern looking. Subwoofer is a cube shape with about 10" edges, so it's easy to place pretty much anywhere in your living room.
It's a well thought-out and well executed product. Definitely recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Blown Away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a huge fan of Samsung products. Most of my home appliances, TVs and gadgets are by Samsung.
When presented with the opportunity to get my hands on Samsungs newest 2025 HW-Q800F, I jumped.
I have last years 2024 Ultra Slim model in a lower range and figured it was time to upgrade my system with bigger and better, and the HW-Q800F didn't let me down.
I didn't think I could be more blown away with a soundbar than I have with my previous model. Boy, was I wrong.
SET UP
Out of the box there is a remote. An HDMI cable if you want to connect it to your TV. However I used the Smart Things App to wirelessly connect the soundbar and it worked flawlessly. No need for another wire. The soundbar has a wire that needs to be plugged in, as does the bass.
Pairing it with my Smart Things App was done in less than a minute, and having it up and running was done just as fast.
I was pretty shocked at how big this soundbar was in comparison to last year's ultra thins, but I didn't care in the least, as this soundbar seemed so high end, so polished and so beautiful regardless of its larger size.
I truly appreciate the way Samsung makes sure their products not only deliver high-end sound, but look it, too.
I have acoustic paneled walls and love how beautiful and modern this soundbar looked in my space.
Straight out of the box, I had pushed the limited up to volume 100 and bass on max, and boy was I blown away. In fact, the whole neighborhood was. Haha.
The sound is crisp, crystal clear, and it was like opening up a whole new world for my ears. An absolute pleasure with sounds being thrown everywhere so the experience was not just visual but also felt immersive as if I was in actual rooms being shown on the screen.
The bass delivers high end bass that rumbles through the room opening up a new realm of sound quality that I've yet to experience prior.
On Smart Things App you have the ability to play with the bass balance and we liked ours at max. You can adjust it for less if you prefer.
I do not think I can find a single negative thing to say about Samsungs HW-Q800F Soundbar.
From box to wall in less than 10 minutes. It honestly took me longer to unpack it.
This soundbar is for anyone who loves authentic crisp sound and lives to feel as if their music, movies, and shows are immersing them inside of the action.
