[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Slide-in Electric Range in Stainless Steel not long time ago. Range works as expected. We are using Wi-Fi functionality all the time. Cooking time is OK

FIRE HAZARD

This stove was already in our house when we bought it (brand new, never used). It is by far the most sensitive appliance I have ever owned! If you lean against it, you can make the knobs turn. I did this without knowing and went about my business. I came out of my bedroom to the kitchen filling with smoke; the takeout we had on top of the stove was burning because the range was accidentally turned on. This is NOT the first time it was turned on by accident, it happens so frequently that we needed to get safety covers for the knobs. The Digital Touch screen is just as bad! The oven has been turned on several times just by brushing up against the screen. You can be as careful as possible with this stove, but accidents will still happen. And if you have children, it’s definitely a terrible idea to buy it. Does it work well? Yes, but that doesn’t outweigh the safety issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buyer Beware

Warning don't make the mistake of buying this range! I bought one 3 years ago and I starting having problems with oven fan not shutting off! Called Samsung for help since I'm a loyal customer and have bought several of their appliances! I was told it would cost several hundred dollars to fix! I'm no longer a faithful buyer of Samsung! Will try another brand, possibly LG!
