Sleek & Modern

i have only had this range for a few weeks now but i am loving it so far. it looks very sleek & modern and makes a great statement in the kitchen. i connected the range to my smartthings app and the entire process was pretty smooth but i am not sure how much i will actually use it but still a neat feature.

DANGEROUS - fire risk

the burner and oven controls are way too sensitive - they will turn on at the slightest touch or bump with no indication they are on. we have burned hands several times, and almost started several fires. the last straw was a serious kitchen fire when the burner was accidentally turned on while a pan with grease was on top. we were not in the kitchen and had our smoke detectors not alerted us, the entire house would have caught fire. this particular flaw has been reported multiple times with the same outcomes (fire) on other samsung range models as well. this is a serious and dangerous design flaw that should be rectified immediately, along with a product recall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely amazing and versatile stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am over the moon with this Samsung 6.3 cu ft Front Control Slide-In Electric Range. I am a huge cooker and I love to entertain for family and friends. I am also a huge technology freak and the awesome fact that I can control this bad boy with wi-if is amazing. I connected the range with my phone and that gives me the ability to preheat the oven with my phone. When the oven is done with cooking the phone notifies me as well. This beautiful piece of equipment come with four burners and one warmer. The knobs are located on the front of the range along with the settings. The oven setting and options are just as impressive. I have used my oven numerous times and my meals are cooked thoroughly an evenly. The heat seems to target the food directly and cooks my food perfectly. My old oven was lopsided and cooked everything unevenly, so this range is an amazing upgrade. My only con with this range is that I have accidentally turned on the oven when I didn’t mean to, by brushing against the stove, so the lock feature is a life saver. I lock the oven and it stays locked all day until I manually unlock it. The lock feature is effective especially if you have small children. The oven light is handy to see your food while its cooking and fan kicks automatically on once the oven is turned on and I absolutely love that feature. The look of the burners add an elegant touch to the range. I do have to clean the cook top more frequently, but if you clean the glass cook top daily then build up will not occur. I am impressed with the design and the location of the oven burners are on the top of the oven instead of the bottom so clean up is less complicated. The self clean feature it easy to follow, but do remove the racks before the cleaning process. I love that cook my is significantly quicker, whether I’m cooking in the oven or on the stove top. I am very impressed with this Samsung Range and the sky is the limit.

Can't review if it doesn't work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] if it worked it... i have to continually unplug and re-plug as controls keep freezing. stove top works well & it's attractive. it's hard to review with very little use of oven. i called. they are sending service in 6 days (guess i won't count on cooking for the holidays). it also won't connect to the app. if they repair it i will give an updated review. i have a problem with a product that arrives defective. also have a samsung fridge which has been a let down since day 1 as well. time to explore other companies. a"i received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.*

Save your money!!

this oven is trash only lasted for months before i had to have a technician come and replace the burners on the stove top save your money and go buy an american made product which will actually take care of you they didn’t even try to compensate me for two weeks that i had to wait to have it replaced poor customer service

Cracked top glass
