Performance Is Great - Just 2 Design Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this slide in range about 1 year ago because I love the quality that Samsung builds into it's products. I love it's extra features like the warming center and the bread proof option. There are 2 drawbacks that I have found however, that I think would be beneficial to take into consideration before purchase. The first is how easily the front facing temperature knobs can be turned on or up accidentally just by bumping them as you work near the stove. This would generally be harder to do if I had chosen a model with the knobs facing upward. The other design feature that I should have considered is the weight limit of the glass stove top. I have taken up canning and what I found out after I bought the stove was that the weight of the pot, water and filled jars would most likely exceed the safe limit for the glass stovetop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far I can’t seem to stop bumping into the controls and turning on the cook top. So far I have not figured out or found a fix to stop this.

Safety issue beware!

We bought this model leas than a year ago. The finish is peeling, the burners turn on with a slight bump, and the oven tempature is not consistent, and stove top scratches and it difficult to clean. We've almost had fires because the burner was on without us knowing. We have kids and pets and cannot take the chance of them getting hurt. Super disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This stove is dangerous! The knobs are very sensitive and easily turned on inadvertently. I would NOT recommend this stove to anyone, especially if you have children or pets.

Smart Range
