Tesa, Let us go ahead and check the settings of your range.
Suppose that your oven was set to demo mode; the heating element of your range will not operate. Please follow these steps to enable or disable this mode. 1. Press Options for 3 seconds. 2. Press or select 0, and then press START/SET. 3. Press or select ON or OFF. 4. Press START/SET to save the changes.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STOVE!

I have expressed my dislike for this stove from the day I bought it, to NO avail! I had to have the serviceman come on the first day, as the top heating elements did not line up with the stove top markings. The front panel is SO sensitive, that the SLIGHTEST touch turns things on! Dangerous! I am a cook and baker - the top burners are not reliable and the oven temperature is NOT accurate! I, literally, HATE this stove and am considering trying to sell it and buy something much more user friendly and reliable.

Junk don’t buy this unit dangerous to your home

I bought this feb 9 then I called for service. Because the oven caught on fire almost burnt my whole house. Then Samsung company don’t want change it. It’s manufacture error the element caught on fire.

Watch out for the knobs!

Beautiful but beware of stove knobs. We have nearly melted things on the stove from pressing against the knobs. Full grown adults here and we have done this at least 4 times in 6 months, even though we remove the knobs and only use them when intending to cool. Serious design flaw! Scary!

Knobs on Samsung ranges have passed requirements set by international standards. These standards require a two-factor mechanism which is a push of the knob and a turn of the knob. This has to be accomplished simultaneously while pushing in on the knob then a turn has to be made to activate the knobs.

Piece of junk!! Save your money
