Does not fit-too tall, oven keeps turning off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this three weeks ago to replace our previous Samsung slide in. I was concerned because it does not have the same features as the earlier Samsung model. To make matters worse when it arrived it was too tall for the counter and could not be lowered adequately, even though it was a the same model as the one I was replacing. Furthermore we have used it for baking several times over the past three weeks and the oven heat control keeps turning off in the middle of the baking cycle. So that we have to keep checking the temperature and turning oven back on again to make sure the proper temperature is maintained. Ironically this is why we were replacing the old Samsung because the oven heating element was not maintaining temperature either. We purchased a five year warranty when we bought this unit but unless Samsung can do something significant to get this straightened out, we will probably return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent secondary stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace our previous Samsung same model and 8 years old. Was killed by multiple power surges. Does great at proofing doughs and general baking. Ours is non induction and non convection but the smooth top burners heat up quickly.
