I've had mine for over a year, and it's held up great and is very convenient to have. Dependable use, fingerprint is accurate and effective, and the one and only time that i had an issue with the battery usage, Lockly replaced it under their warranty and the exchange process was very seamless. I'll likely be buying another one in the future!
I've had this lock for quite awhile now. Both my wife and I have the app on our phones. We are having daily problems with the app not opening the lock. We were informed we need to be within a certain distance for to he lock to be activated. There are very far and few between times we can be 25+ feet away and it will unlock from our Androids. There are more times than not it will not unlock when we are 5 ft from the door. At that moment we manually put our code in for entry. This is aggravating when our hands are full. To sum it up this lock with our mobile app are very inconsistent. Battery life is not an issue either. I have wanted to purchase other items but the cost for inconsistency has turned me away.
We have a Lockly on our front door and love the fingerprint feature. We don't have to worry about lost keys and I can track when people enter or leave the house. The lock also allows us to give codes to people to enter when we are not there and we can time the period that the code works.
I bought this product for the front door of my residence and loved it! It was very ascetically pleasing and the simple finger print entrance access was convenient when you couldn’t locate the house keys.
I have been using Lockly for 2 years now and for the most part I love the product. I don't have to bring keys along with me and can quickly get into my house. I have noticed two small issues though. Lockly is battery powered, and as the battery weakens, it's locking mechanism weakens with it. I have to pull the door closed or else it won't latch and make this horrible alarm noise. I do not have this issue with fresh batteries. The other issue is that I'd set up a guest code for a housekeeper when I was away for over a month. I had used the guest code feature before without problems, but this time it did not work and I could not troubleshoot from afar. I had to give her my master code which was not my preference and I had to change it.
We needed a lock with the ability to allow various guests in but with a temporary access code. This lock allows us to set a date and time to allow access to maintenance personnel and cleaners, great feature.
We bought this lock before family came to town so they could easily get in and out of our house when we were at work. It worked perfectly. The only problem I see is I wish there was an easier way to keep the door unlocked for a certain amount of time. There is a feature in the app that does something like this, but it seems like you have to select a certain day it will always keep it unlocked. I wish you could just snooze the lock feature if we are having an event at the house without having to remember to go back and delete that time frame later.
