Great sling, bad strap

I picked up the sling during the initial run on kickstarter. The sling itself is great, I use it a lot for things like my phone, keys, and ID when I don't want those in my pockets, but the strap is terrible and the clip is too easy to disconnect. This was a huge concern when travelling in Europe.
I found the best solution was to remove the strap entirely and just use an anchor on each loop and use one of my PD leash or slide lite. Guaranteed to not accidentally unclip now. I have no intention to use it as a fanny pack so I have no need for a "easy to drop / lose my bag" clip
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great all around bag with multiple uses

I bought this sling because it looked great. I was not sure what I was going to do with it. I was sure I will find lots of things to use it for in the future. I just got back from a long two week trip. While I have a lot of daily meds that I take in a daily pill container. I have a lot of other medical related items that I usually take with me on longer trips. The various compartments made it easy to sort out small bottles, injectables, sprays etc. It was a great go to that conveniently kept everything I needed.

Just take my money! It all started with the camera clip and camera straps. I thought to myself this is brilliant! I have been a Peak Design fan since then 15 plus years ago. I own so many of your products I can't name them all here, and they are all great. Keep that Sh*t up! I would love to see you make luggage or bag tags that clip on and off all your bags, backpacks and pouched with the same camera clip. Peak Design colors Plus Plus.
I just purchased your outdoor sling and outdoor backpack to photograph a cattle drive of all things and it preformed as I expected, Awesome.

Nearly perfect, but for the unsafe quick release b

I had bought this sling about a year ago and it had been a really good travel companion until I nearly lost it riding a scooter in SE-Asia because the quick release buckle is way too easy to accidentally open. I was lucky and caught the bag… but this is not good.
I did then take it to a local bag maker had them replace the buckle (photo)..

Again it would be a nearly perfect sling if peak design would have chosen a secure buckle!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic Travel Sling!

Excellent bag for travel! I’ve used it for a several week trip to Scandinavia and it has been perfect! Great size, configuration and lightweight! I finally found the perfect sling for travel! Have had absolutely no issues with the strap coming undone or any wear on the sling. Extremely happy with this bag!

2L is great size and simple to conceal

Great product. Use it regularly. Easily conceals a Glock 19 in an appendix carry holster that is form fitted to weapon. Suggestion also made to PD to consider making a product line for this purpose. I’m referring to the 2L size.

Super bag!

This bag is super and does everything I need it for .... used it for walks about 3-4 hours duration carrying an extra lens 135mm, phone and phone power bank, monocular, torch, lip balm etc. It is water proof and makes it easy to walk light but still change lenses quickly on separately carried camera. Used it in Namibia for 2 weeks every day, walking, helicoptering and looking for wildlife.
