This bag would otherwise be a great unstructured sling that molds to your body when worn if not for the easy release clip. It is TOO easy to release and the bag immediately falls to the ground. If you have anything fragile in the bag it will likely be broken as the bag does not have a lot of cushion or padding (which would be fine if there wasn’t this risk of dropping the bag on the floor with normal use). Just a slight touch of the clip when adjusting the bag on your shoulder will cause it to come undone. Huge design flaw not seen in any other competitor slings I have in this category (eg Bellroy, Aer, tonic etc).

I’ve been using it every day for a month and so far I’m very satisfied with it. I wanted a sling that can carry my iPad Pro 11” with keyboard and it fits perfectly with spare room for other edc things.

Useful design but with drawbacks

Have had the 2l bag for a few weeks and like the design but if it were 2.5l - just a bit bigger it would be ideal. It will take a small camera easily but the mobile phone pocket at rear needs to be a bit bigger - will only take an iPhone 16 or Samsung Galaxy S23 or 25 upright and not sideways so not possible to close the flap. Also the shoulder strap has a locking clasp which is a mistake (as others have mentioned) as its possible to accidentally open it, and it puts you at risk of theft as anyone can open the clasp at the back. To prevent this I have glued tbe clasp in the locked position. Peak design need to fit a shoulder strap WITHOUT an opening clasp!

bought it and as soon as I saw the buckle packed it up and returned it. reading all the other comments confirmed my suspicion that the buckle will easily open by mistake and leave you picking up your broken camera from the ground. otherwise everything seems great. if they fix the buckle design i'll definitely buy it again!

My new Everyday Bag

Bought the 7L on Kickstarter and love it. Great feel, great weight and with the XS Cube the perfect bag for my mirrorless camera. Yes, the Cube is not the exact size of the bag, but I fill it up with a packable tote so I always have a shopping bag with me. For me, it's my new Everyday Bag and I love it!

Love the design! Belt can fit either left or right shoulder, magnet pocket for cell phone, both sides zipper and lifetime warranty. Lots of thoughtful design

I bought the 2L version and I felt that I need a little more ,7L is too much. When PD launch the 4L was a instant buy. I love the design the front pocket with zíper is perfect and the dividers inside are really useful. The only thing is the buckle of the strap is too easy to unlock accidentally or intentionally, I had to create an extra secure layer (aka a clip to hold the buckle close)
I would recommend this to a friend!

This would be a great sling IF: 1) Peak Design did not slap their logo all over it, which cheapens the product (and their brand) and 2) If it came in the Sage color. Therefore, I'll continue to use my XXS packing cube and strap as my everyday sling instead of the 2L. YMMV of course.
