This is a great sling to use in combination with the 45 l backpack when traveling. You leave the backpack in your room and take what you need for exploring. The only thing I wish is that there was room for a water bottle

Good sling/waist pack, but not a great camera bag

As an small every day sling or pocket reliever sling and waist/fanny pack it works out great. If you're looking for it as a camera bag, I'd look elsewhere even if you can fit a camera cube into it. It's relatively packable with the only structure in it being the padded back.
I don't mind the strap since I mostly wear it as a waist/fanny pack, but if you wear it mostly as a sling and will swap between shoulders, it can be annoying since the padding won't align with your shoulder. It's also easy to unbuckle, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the person.

Great Sling, disappointing strap

Very nice Sling with two flaws regarding the Strap. 1st I'd like the closing mechanism to be reversed. I mean that if i undo it with one hand, I'd hold the short part of the strap. 2nd After it got in contact with the hook side of a velcro strap, it started fraying and is now a bit unsightly. Other than those two things im Very happy with the quality and design of this sling, and i hope itll serve me well for quite some time.

Great Sling for minimalist hiking

Bought this sling to replace my V1 Everyday 5L sling. I got the XS cube to go with it. Despite not carrying as much as I thought it would, camera wise (really only a small mirrorless, like my a6000, and one additional smaller lense), the light weight material and comfort make up for it. I think 7L really only applies to the bag when it doesn’t have the cube in it, so probably more like 5L with the cube. Just be aware of that. All in all, great sling for shorter hikes when you don’t want to carry more, or use it as a chest bag with the outdoor bags (I keep my film camera and extra film there for easy access).

Solid Sling Bag, but not for camera gear

It's a solid sling and waist pack all around, but I wouldn't trust it for camera gear. I'd rather use it as an edc/pocket reliever style bag

I bought this bag about 1 month ago while visiting their Venice California location. Great color. Really thoughtful design and features. A great every day crossbody. Would buy again. Likely will buy the other colors as well to give me more styling options.

Everyday carry through Central Asia

I purchased this bag along with other items during the Kickstarter campaign and could not be happier with its utility and hardiness. I just completed a 5 month journey, mostly overland from Turkey to China, and this bag rarely left my side. It was great for an everyday carry and I found that I preferred it over a small backpack for day hikes in the mountains. It holds, well, a lot. On a regular basis I carried a phone, my journal, a Kindle, my Sony RX100, a second small notebook, Bose headphones, and a small portable charger along with a number of small items such as lip balm, tissues, etc.. Additionally, the material held up very well and I love the bungie straps on the bottom where I routinely kept a rain coat, second layer, or a water bottle. For air journeys it is all I kept out of the overhead as it held everything I needed to keep me occupied during the flight.
I did not have any issues with the buckle throughout this time. The only thing I would like to see improved is to have the small pockets inside have some elastic at the top to help hold items in these spaces. Otherwise, looking forward to using again on my next adventure. Great bag and super useful.
