Needs another safety feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home is a bit older and drafty in our bedrooms which is fine for us, but chilly for our kiddos. He started sleeping so much better once we got this heater. I love all the safety settings and different features. It's very easy to use and very portable. We take it on vacation and even put it in different rooms in our house for warmer play times. It is also very quiet when it's on. It really feels like this product was designed with parents in mind. Vornadobaby Tempa Nursery Heater, is pretty cool
Pros: Auto Shutoff, Cord keeper, Easy to travel with, Limited noise

Wonderful for small rooms!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product in my childs room to keep it warmer than the rest of the house at night and it works perfectly! I love that it has a child-proof switch on the on/off switch to keep children from turning it on and when it is turned on if if happens to fall over it automatically turns itself off!
Pros: Compact, has safety features, heats well

Pros: Can transfer from room to room., Light weight portable heater.

So safe for toddler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was that the cord tucks away to be inaccessible to curious little hands and the child lock on the power button were so well thought out! It turns off when tipped, has tiny vents that little fingers cannot fit into, and most importantly doesn't feel hot to the touch! The multiple settings are a great feature and totally worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am extremely impressed with this heater! This is a VERY well designed product which does its job perfectly! I absolutely love the concealed cord storage which both conceals the cord during storage/transport and keeps extra cord nicely hidden when you only need a short amount of cord. This not only makes the unit look neater, but it also reduces the amount of excess cord that would otherwise be a potential tripping hazard - well done!! I like the neutral colors, which easily make this heater something that can grow with boys and girls alike, or could be used from day one for an older child, adult, or aging parent. There are a number of notable safety features which I was impressed with. The child safety lever for the on/off switch will deter most kids but is easy enough for an adult to overcome for easy use. It has a cool-touch case which doesn't have any pinch points. The inlet and outlet of the fan has small enough openings that even small fingers won't be able to touch the moving or hot parts inside. There is a built-in over-temperature shutoff as well as a tip shutoff in case the heater is knocked over. This really is safe enough for me to feel comfortable leaving it unattended with an infant or small child. Like most small heaters, there are two heat settings and a "temperature" control. Also like most heaters, it doesn't show actual temperature but rather a range. On this heater, the thermostat is infinitely adjustable for fine-tuning the right temperature. There is also a setting for intermittent or continuous fan - this option keeps the fan on and circulating the air even when it isn't heating. This heater has a 5 year warranty, which is phenomenal and longer than I would expect for this type of product. Vornado claims that their products are designed in Kansas but they do not state where the products are made.
