Great Customer Care; Product is good when it works

I purchased an earlier version of this 5 years ago for my son. It's a powerful little heater but it stopped working a year in. Vornado replaced the unit for me and it worked great. It's a few years in now and the heater has stopped working for me again. Again, vornado has been great about the warranty- pretty painless replacement. when it works, it's a great little heater. so 2 heaters in 5 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vornado tempa is a very safe heater in my opinion. It has so many cool safety features on it! It has a button on the bottom that shuts off the heater if the heater is moved in any way. It has a slide lock on the power button. It also has cycle features that are pretty cool as well. I use it in my bathroom sometimes just to warm it up, and it works really well.

I bought this about a month ago for my one year old's room and we've been using it every day. It's nice and small and fits well on the desk in his room. Very happy with the safety features. It heats the room perfectly without it getting too hot.

A heater with features I didnt know I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We stay in the northeast where the temperatures really dip when they do. I recently delivered a baby and needed him to stay warm even though I like to stay cool. For him, I had to turn up the thermostat, but it was very uncomfortable for me. So I needed a separate heater for him. This heater perfectly fit the bill. Its compact so I can move it around when needed and heats up really quick. It offers a wide range of heat levels and I can adjust it to suit my baby. The safety features were really useful since my older one(5 year old girl) likes to tinker with stuff a lot. The safety features ensure that she doesnt turn it on when its not needed and also the device turns off when it tips over. Great device to have around kids.
Pros: Child proof clip for power switch, Good looking, Quick heat up, Safety tip over auto shut off, Small footprint

Thermostat

There is no actual temperature for each setting on the thermostat. Just 1,2,3,4,5 & 6. Doesn’t have to be on the product itself but maybe in the manual. The product is light weight & the cord storage is nice but overall not knowing the temperature is uncomfortable considering it’s for a nursery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had not known about this heater for nurseries and I am very pleased with it. It has great safety features that make it turn off when tipped over, the turn on switch is not easily accessible to children and the cord tucks away inside. Overall I'm loving it. The heat is not overpowering where it would be too hot for my child, it is very subtle and perfect. I absolutely prefer this heater to others as it is perfect for a baby room. I am glad I was able to sample.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this in my 4 year olds room since he can't sleep unless it's really warm. The heater does a great job of warming up my sons room with continuous or the auto fan setting. It is super quiet which I love! The safety features of this heater are great, it's not hot to the touch which is great for little fingers. It also has a safety shut off if excessive heat detected (i.e a blanket covering it) and also if the heater gets knocked over. I took away one star because I wish there was some type of safety feature from keeping kids with messing with the top buttons. Overall it works great for us.

Could be better

The thermostat is useless. Being in a nursery, I want to be able to set the temperature to a specific set of degrees, or close to it. Tried for a week to play around with this and it's always either too hot or too cold. I wouldn't recommend this. You'll never be able to sleep at night not knowing if your kid is freezing or burning up.
