We bought the all-in-one because of its size, price and design. We love it. Our old all-in-one was slower and too big. This one was easy to set up and has performed well

I like this printer a lot. I have not had a chance to print on 11 x 17 paper, but all the other functions perform very well. And the compact and beautiful design deserves accolades.

The updated utilities , wireless , smart phone access , print copy are great. Quality of parts is not 1st class and scanner is not as good as other products.

Good So Far

Only have had it 3 weeks.
Had to set it up 3 times to get full functionality in wireless mode. I may have missed a step 1st two times. Couldn't get laptop to recognize and start the printer up.
Prints nice.
Really noisy when it runs out of paper and is searching for the next sheet.
Printed 200 small envelopes. Paper jammed at least once half way thru almost every stack of about ten. Had to shut the machine off and restart each time to get rid of the error after removing the jams.
Will probably have to buy only Brother ink since cartridges are "pressurized" and I doubt re-manufacturers have what it takes to refill these.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent printer

While I've had the MFC-J4510DW printer for only a brief period, I'm very pleased with the product. It was easy to install and the operation was very intuitive. I am also quite please with its compact design.

Great for a home office

Scan documents, photos, invoices, correspondence, etc. with ease. Print office quality color (sketches, plans, charts, maps, up to 11 x 17!! Plus fax and copy.
Thanks to small footprint and networking capabilities, it makes a great MFC when space is at a premium.

Good printer - haven't had any issues with initial setup. Have been using it for 2 months and have only one comment - it could be a little bit quieter - quite noisy when it prints.

Owned one week. e-z setup. Manual + touchscreen offer clear instructions. A few paper jams, not difficult to unjam. One surprise - sheet feeder is noisy and makes a sound which suggests it's about to jam.
Positives: everything works, scan, copy, printing, and wireless is a great convenience. I bought it for its compactness. It is.
