Excellent Product

The first day I set the unit up I used the fax, scanner, printer and copier. It was absolutely great! I had some work I brought home from my job and it did a wonderful job!

Gets the Job Done

Being able to print from an iPad or iPhone really comes in handy. This printer also allows us to print on both sides of the paper which lowers costs. Besides being a great printer, it even looks great just sitting there.
I would recommend this to a friend!

INCREDIBLE VALUE ALL IN ONE

This is a great, well designed product with all features working even better than the ads promise. At the price that I paid for it new, it is a tremendous value for my money. It installed quickly and easily with my wireless home network, it works with my PCs, iPads, and iPhones. And yes, it even looks great! My complements to Brother for this outstanding all in one printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

MFC-J4510DW looks nice but inflexible

For basic functions, this machine is fine. Unfortunately, some of the advanced functions, described in the User Guide, simply don't work. Trying to get them to work is a huge exercise in frustration despite "help" from support. I can only guess that the sideways printing means much more software is needed to drive it and, therefore, the complexity gets in the way of function. Too bad because Brother has a pretty good reputation and it does print very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good printer

I like the printer and it does a good job printing. I do have a minor problem with it. When printing an article, say a menu, it will print the article but will leave a few lines half printed. Which can be annoying when printing a recipe.

Does all the chores expected and well. It works well wirelessly and the fax is excellent. This saves me toner on my Laser printer that I did use for faxing.
