Just received this and not too impressed. It seems kind of flimsy. Inserting the cards results in the cover kind of folding on itself. The magnetic cover seems to easily flip inside the holder and is a pain to remove. A little more engineering on this and it might be good. There are other options available in the market for less money. This item will probably be going back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely love this wallet—I have the slim version. I use it both with and without my phone, and it's soooo convenient. The opening mechanism is a joy to use! I originally got it on Kickstarter, and it still hasn’t torn or worn out. Thanks, Peak Design, for the amazing quality and design!

Disappointing quality at this price point

Disappointing quality at this price point. The material on the interior of the wallet (between the stand and magnetic backer) is creased and refuses to lay flat. I expect better craftsmanship if I am going to pay up for a 'premium' product.

The color is great, the material, the magnetic closure at the top, and the way that you get the cards out. However, the MagSafe feels very weak. I’m afraid that it might fall off the phone very easy, so I’m not using it all the time attached to the phone. I’ve the IPhone 17Pro, I tried it with and without the case (an Apple case) and it’s always the same weak grip. I have other MagSafe accessories and they attach to the phone way stronger.

I have a few Peak Design products now and am definitely a fan of the quality. I was a bit skeptical at first about the fabric on the wallet and the durability, keeping it clean, smell, etc but can say there have been no issues with the quality of the material, storing my cards, functionality of the wallet. It holds your cards securely, the magnet is strong enough to not worry about the wallet falling off the phone while in use, perform activities. The stand has come in helpful quite a bit, the tripod has me intrigued but this wallet doubling as a stand has come in handy when you want to watch a video or just have your phone screen visible. Currently the wallet is holding 7 cards and I typically keep emergency cash in the wallet as well. You cannot store many bills but i have had no issues with my daily use. I can reduce the amount of cards on specific days to hold more cash which is fine with me. Overall I am impressed, I would at least try the product if you’re curious at all about it and return if you’re not satisfied. Build quality is definitely impressive as well, you can open the wallet stand 1 handed while holding the phone, takes practice but the magnet that holds the wallet stand closed is strong but manageable.

I've been eagerly waiting for this for a year. It finally arrived today and I'm underwhelmed. Alot of the imagery used on the website and in promo material showed the cards "fan out" when opened which is not a feature of this at all. Along with this, I have an iPhone 12 mini and the size of the wallet covers the lower portion of the main camera. Seems like it was designed for the other models with the mini as an afterthought. Overall it just feels off. Not the standard I have come to know from peak design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best wallet stand ever!

The Wallet Stand has a very solid design. This is engineered so well and feels solid in your hands. I love the satisfying magnetic click. I have found no flaws in the design so far!
Functionality:
This functions so well in its ability to hold the phone up. The magnets are strong and easily latches on to the Everyday Case. This can also be used directly with an iPhone (via MagSafe). You do not need the Everyday case for this Wallet Stand, although, I feel the magnets are stronger on the Everyday Case and would hold the Wallet Stand more securely. The Phone can be held in either Portrait or Landscape mode. The hinge on this so solid that the phone is held securely at any angle of the stand. The Stand locks on with a satisfying magnetic click. I open and close this all day long!
The wallet stand easily holds 7 cards and if you push it, it can take 8 or 9 even. The card pull-out tab is one of the best features of this. The magnetic closure also doubles as a pull-tab. You pull on it and the cards slide out! This makes getting the cards out a breeze.
Material of Construction and Durability:
The case is made of canvas and looks like it will hold up for a long time. The only thing I am concerned about is the edges where the canvas material comes in contact with the interior structural metal plates. But, no problem so far.

Great Wallet

Just received my case and wallet. Love that I can use the kickstand for vertical and horizontal. I had another wallet case and after a while the slot for the cards got loose and I lost my cards. No bueno! Love that this has a) a strong magnet and b) that there is a flap that keeps the cards in. So happy
