Looks great but....

Wallet attaches strongly to the back of the case. The cards pull fine using the flap, but sliding cards back into the case according to directions is almost impossible and causes the case to detach from the phone case. The wallet must be removes and at 250 pounds and being strong from being a farrier, can barely get the cards to retract into the wallet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's fine. Not great.

I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of gear from Peak Design over the years and I pretty much love everything I own. This wallet is the one thing that doesn't quite cut it. It's fine. But, the flap always ends up behind the cards. On several occasions I hadn't realized this and launched my credit cards across a store or restaurant. The cards don't quite go back into the wallet snug and I'm always fumbling with the flap at checkout. The good news is, I mostly use the phone to pay for everything these days, so I haven't needed to replace it. But, I keep hoping there will be an upgrade at some point.

Good but not yet great

With most of their products, PD knocks design and functionality out of the park. I bought this wallet and fairly happy but they haven't quite perfected the design. The magnet and card carrying capacity is top notch, the issue I run into is getting the cards back in the wallet and the magnetic closer tab wanting to get in behind the cards as you are putting credit cards back into the wallet. Seems this "lid" should be a bit more rigid so this would not happen. Otherwise it's a pretty solid product. One other wish or option would be for the wallet to attach to the PD phone case with it's locking mechanism. When I've dropped my phone, the wallet will most times detach from the phone and the cards will sometimes go flying out the magnetic "close flapper" due to the force of the drop.

Very good, but…

I own both the Slim Wallet and Slim Wallet with Stand. I got the former after enjoying the version with the stand because I didn’t use the stand as much as I thought I would, and it added bulk and weight.
To my surprise, the Slim Wallet’s magnet isn’t as strong as the one with the stand. It’s usable and not dissimilar to Apple’s wallet strength, so while not a deal breaker, it’s definitely not nearly as strong as the amazingly strong magnet on the stand version (which is above average), so keep that in mind.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve had one of these wallets on my phones with their cases for years. Huge fan of everything they do here - all the mounts and simple yet effective attachment to the case is phenomenal. The motorcycle mounts are hands down the best available. Here’s the only thing I can’t figure out, why does this wallet still not permanently lock into it? I have almost lost this wallet so many times! Phone drops - wallet disconnects. Pull phone out of pocket without special consideration of the wallet - wallet disconnects. Does it attach easily and seamlessly? Yes. But the security of it leaves a lot to be desired. Pleaaaaase figure this out.

Much easier to get cards out but…

I do like the fact that cards are much easier to get out. I was hoping it would stick to my existing case like it does not. It’s about the same as my Apple wallet and since the AW has tracking which has saved me a few times I will probably not use this one.
