Never stays stuck.

Ive been trying various available mounting adhesives and its just a fundamentally bad design. The 3M adhesive provided and all others ive tried just doesnt hold the heavy mount at all. Also doesnt help that the bracket surface is of a shape that is super weird. While i have so many other PD products i am happy with. This product is just bad.

I own several of Peak Designs MagSafe compatible charging mounts. Five of this specific mount, that mounts using adhesive. Two of the car vent mounts. And one of the 20mm ball mount. They all work very well. The stability and control you get from the tripod like ball head is exactly what you would expect. Easy to adjust, but stays in place once set. The car vent mount design works better than any other I have tried. The two connection points to the vent keeps the mount stable and vibration free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Over price product

Another over price product from Peak Design. The arm is too short and hard to exchange or replace to another arm. I want to reuse the magnetic but impossible.

Secure and easy to use

I have had a lot of different car mounts and they all fall down. I wasn’t sure about this product but it came highly recommended so I thought I would give it a try. Love it. Went ahead and bought 3 more to give to family. Don’t hesitate if you are looking for minimal, secure and can charge.

Great mount/charger, but adhesive fails in heat

I got a new pixel 9 in December and decided to go all out and deck it out with a PD case and chargers. Love the case, the wallet, and these chargers looked very well made. First the good parts:
Mostly made of metal, they seem well made and sturdy.
The charging worked well and was fast.
The magnets were definitely strong enough. I drive on several very bumpy roads and never had the phone fall off the mount.
Now the bad part:
The adhesive sticking the mount to the dashboard is failing after only about 6 months. Mine were mounted where the adhesive was vertical, rather than horizontal on the top of the dashboard. However, I did take the time to find a flat spot on the front of the dash, wipe the area down with an alcohol wipe, press the mount down the first time for several minutes and wait a day before using it for the phone. Because of this, although it is a well designed mount and a great charger, I cannot recommend this mount for areas where it gets particularly hot in the summer or where the mounting point would be in direct sunlight.

Sleek Design

I bought this a month ago, and it works great. Design is contemporary and minimalist. Price seems a bit high in comparison to competing products.
