The perfect car mount finally exists! This mount is super stable and convenient. The magnetic connection holds my iPhone 13 Pro Max no problem. Wireless charging eliminates hassle and clutter. Well done Peak Design!

Perfect car mount

At first I was afraid of attaching it with glue to the dashboard of the car, because the holder is slightly curved and in my car a completely flat base would be better, but after a month I can say that it does not move from its place. The magnetic attachment of the phone is absolutely sufficient even on the roads in the Czech Republic :-). The workmanship is top-notch, I recommend it.

Strong magnet with a slim profile, but…

I got this as part of a kickstarter release, like the sucker for Peak Design stuff I am- bought of the products they’ve launched this way- this one hasn’t been all that great, I Love the slim profile and the strong magnets. However the adhesion process is tricky. I cleaned the surface and used a small c-clamp to hold it in place for 24hrs over the weekend, the mount has fallen off twice :^( I understand the reason for the curvature on the base, however on my case it might be to strong and it’s detaching form the center of the base.

I bought the Charging Car mount for a gift for someone and it looks sleek, is well engineered, and works great with any MagSafe case. Going to order one for myself!
